After leaving my software engineering job due to burnout two decades ago, I turned to meditation. I suddenly saw meditation as the solution to all my problems.
However, I reluctantly came to understand that meditation couldn’t fully address adverse childhood experiences. While meditation sometimes led to deep insights into a freedom that I had not experienced before, it also uncovered a lot of emotional and bodily tensions that I could not resolve alone on my cushion. Internal Family System (IFS) and Non Violent Communication (NVC), with the support of practitioners, trainers and a caring community, has deepened my healing through an understanding of my needs, compassion for my parts, and better listening and communication skills.
I was fortunate to meet skilled and compassionate people on my healing and awakening journey. Nowadays, as a trained IFS practitioner and meditation teacher, I enjoy supporting people on their own path of freedom and healing.
