My childhood was spent on isolated, large-scale illegal marijuana farms in Florida during the 1970s, surrounded by loving but wounded people caught up in addiction, secrecy, and dysfunction. I came away from that turbulent beginning needing to piece together how to live an emotionally healthy and stable life.
I began my journey 18 years ago with meditation, nonviolent communication, and The Work of Byron Katie. These tools were beneficial right from the start and continue to be foundational. However, the real shift happened when I started working with a counselor skilled in reparenting. She helped me connect with my inner child, inner teenager, and inner critic, which was the missing piece. Reparenting helped me see that my sense of unworthiness came from childhood wounding, not from some fundamental flaw. With this revelation, I learned how to individuate from my family, love myself, feel and tend to my emotions, establish boundaries, and deepen the intimacy in my 26-year marriage.
As a trauma-informed facilitator and coach, I offer individual sessions and groups, sharing tools and practices I’ve tried and tested through workshops, classes, and retreats. It would be an honor to support you as you release outdated conditioning, rediscover healthier ways of being, and find true freedom.
